When Architects design pool halls they invariably put the building on conventional foundations and the pool is then built by excavation within the building and completely separate from the building foundations.
This not only costs more but it results in all the services being buried so that if there is a leak in any of the many pipes that are carrying water underground then the floor of the pool hall has to be completely dug up to find and repair the leak
The pool plant room is normally installed at one end of the pool as shown here
